It's been a while since I did a text update. But it's mainly to be materialistic and share my Christmas plunder, because I am excite. And this is honestly been a fantastic Christmas. I was apprehensive, especially since it's the first year I've been home for Christmas since Dad died, but the time with the family last night was absolutely wonderful. It feels right being home.
I got a working replica of The Master's fobwatch from Doctor Who, a Wheatley flashlight keychain, a Portal 2 decal (now on Westin, my laptop), two journals (one from Sam, one from Mom), a clock (from the Art Institute of Chicago - from my uncle), the Absolute Sandman collection volumes I - V, a lithograph of the entire team from Mass Effect 2, a new rucksack, Assassin's Creed: Revalations, Zelda: Skyward Sword, companion cube fuzzy dice, the new Florence + The Machine album for my car, an ornament and a magnet with a picture of myself and my boyfriend (from my aunt), a chocolate santa (nOM NOM NOM), a beautiful red cape, a Companion Cube mousepad, and GameStop and iTunes Gift Cards, AWWW YEAH. My older cousin also got me Rage, the XBox360 game. I have no real idea what it's about, but he works for Id, the company that made it, so I'm super psyched to see my cousin's name in the credits! X3 I appreciate every single thing I got - it was perfect!
I got my Mum a robe, a nightgown, a jean jacket, and a rocking chair for the front porch of our cabin.
We are going up north tomorrow through Friday, so I won't be around until then. I'm dragging my XBox up with me. It's going to be a love affair between me and my videogames.
Christmas last night was very nice. Everyone was here, and in a great mood the entire time. Dinner was delicious, we have plenty of leftovers, and I have a new pair of PJs to snuggle into. =w=; My baby cousins are so big now - just over a year, and they're starting to talk and toddle around. They're little scamps, that's for certain.
